The first season will start one week after the release of the Warlords of New York expansion.
These events will be added at regular intervals and will feature their own stories and unique rewards. Seasons are also being introduced into The Division 2 - a three-month-long endgame event that brings a new primary target and a network to track down and eliminate.
At the Recalibration Station, a more streamlined system is being introduced along with item and state usefulness indicators.Īll existing Dark Zones in The Division 2 are being revamped returning them to a "simpler rogue mechanic." The focus has now shifted towards rewarding player to player interaction, "whether it's fighting against each other or helping a fellow Agent against a tough Rogue player." God rolls are making a comeback, improving readability, allowing players to make more informed decisions on gear choice when it comes to their build. Players will now be able to better read and manage their gear, while the UI screen is being updated to always show roll ranges for each stat on a weapon or piece of gear. According to a press release from Ubisoft, it has been, "taking the time to hear and gather community feedback" and has made numerous enhancements in key areas. With the expansion, the level cap will increase from level 30 to 40, and a new infinite progression system the "SHD" level is to be introduced alongside four new skills new weapons, gear and exotic items.Ĭoming alongside the Warlords of New York expansion is a new title update that makes several changes. Players will gain that unique skill once you've taken an individual Rogue Agent down. However, to get to Keener, players must eliminate four of his Rogue Agents, each with their own back story and skill. New zones featuring iconic locations such as Two Bridges, Wall Street and Chinatown are all open to explore on your mission to find Keener. Players will need to traverse the open world of Lower Manhattan a former Dark Zone that was recently devastated by a hurricane. Keener has gone rogue and along with a network of other rogue agents, is a threat to the rebirth of civilisation. Players are on the hunt for former Division Agent, Aaron Keener.
